How is the Network Managed?
The Network is a support organisation to facilitate the enhancement of the health outcomes of the Central Wheatbelt area and its population through its GPs.
The Network is managed by a Board of Directors which is elected each year prior to the Annual General Meeting. A Chairperson and up to 6 Directors make up the Board. The Board meets on a regular basis.
Each program of the Network is advised by a Director.
The Board of Directors provides direction to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is responsible for managing staff, managing the day-to-day running of the organisation and ensuring the goals and objectives of the Board are achieved. To assist the CEO in this regard, there are four managers - Member Services Manager, Wheatbelt Support Services Manager, Wheatbelt Resilience Program Manager and the Finance Manager.
Each Manager supervises staff to support the organisation's programs and to ensure that appropriate levels of GP and community support are accomplished.
