Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists work closely with doctors and other health professionals to plan and manage treatment.

Physiotherapists aim to rehabilitate and improve a person’s ability to move and function. Many people believe physiotherapists mainly work with back and sports related injuries but this only makes up a small part of what they can do.

Physiotherapists can help a broad range of patients that fall into the following categories but are not limited to:

  • Cardiorespiratory
  • Paediatric
  • Womens and Mens Health
  • Orthopaedic
  • Sports physiotherapy
  • Acupuncture and dry needling
  • Cancer, palliative care and lymphoedema
  • Musculoskeletal
  • Neurology
  • Occupational health
  • Pain management
  • Others -aquatic and continence
