Meet Robyn

Our Wagin Workshop Artist

We asked her a few quick questions!

  1. What got you involved in your medium of art?

“I started making scrunchies during the first Covid lockdown & people stated to love my creations, that led me to making other crafty items like bags, headbands & dolls.

  1. What’s the biggest change you see in yourself from 3 years ago?

“I am so confident & passionate in guiding my little business. I am more driven & love sharing my culture & creations with people wherever I go”.

  1. What do you hope to achieve in the workshop?

“I hope to provide awareness about Noongar Culture, I hope to build strong relationships with the participants and give them a good outlook on life”.

  1. When your feeling discouraged, what gets you back on track?

“I usually refocus my thoughts by going for a walk or reading a book. I stop for a minute or 2 and remember why I do what I do & also list the things I am grateful for!

  1. What is your most listened to song right now?

“I am powerful by SIA”

“I love this song as it reminds me I can do anything I set my mind to”.
