26 June 2008	United voice for primary health care acting for all Australians.  With the average Australian life expectancy now at 81.4 years and governments around the country struggling to rein in hospital spending, there's never been more need for a united voice from the primary health care sector.
24 June 2008	12,000 a year dying from diabetes complications.  Diabetes contributed to nearly 12,000 deaths in 2005 according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) report, Australia's Health 2008, released today.
11 June 2008	Rural GP and AGPN Chair appointed leader of Primary Health Care Strategy.  Today, Minister for Health and Ageing the Hon Nicola Roxon appointed Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) and rural GP Dr Tony Hobbs as chair of the primary health care External Reference Group.
9 June 2008	The boys line up for Mens Health Week 2008.  During Men's Health Week 08 men are being encouraged to look out for their mate's and their own overall health.  According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) in 2004 men were four times more likely than women to take their own lives.
