On Monday, 15 March 2010, the Wheatbelt GP Network opened its second General Practice - Wheatbelt General Practice, Wyalkatchem.  The opening of the practice signifies an exciting new relationship between the Wheatbelt GP Network and the Shires of Wyalkatchem, Koorda and Dowerin. The Wheatbelt General Practice, Wyalkatchem is again operating its dispensary service, offering prescription and pharmacy only medicine to patients.  The practice services Koorda on Tuesdays and Dowerin on Wednesday mornings.  Appointments for the Koorda and Dowerin clinics can be made by phoning Wyalkatchem on the number below. Dr Lili Costello has recently joined the practice working Mondays to Thursdays.
